Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone, or email professionally and promptly.
- Handle basic administrative and clerical tasks (e.g., filing, data entry, managing bookings).
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
- Assist in managing guest luggage and arranging transportation services when needed.
- Deliver requested amenities (e.g., towels, toiletries) to guest rooms when required.
- Record and relay guest complaints or requests to the appropriate department.
- Support VIP or group check-ins and coordinate with other team members.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception or guest services area. Help monitor and maintain stock of brochures, maps, and hospitality items.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality qualification is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in hospitality.
- Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of hotel systems is a bonus.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
