Job Position: Personal Assistant to Senior Cleric

Job Description
- We are seeking a highly organised, dedicated, and professional Personal Assistant to support the Senior Cleric in his duties within the Anglican Church.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Bishop, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
- Manage and maintain the SeniorCleric calendar, including scheduling meetings, events, and appointments.
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Assistancewith the preparing and organising of church services, meetings, and special events.
- Maintain confidential records and documents related to the Senior Cleric’s role.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics as required.
Qualifications
- He must be an Anglican
- He must know how to speak Yoruba
- Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the Anglican faith
- Proficiency in office software, including Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and email management.
- A calm, professional demeanour and the ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes demanding environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in a church or faith-based organisation.
- Knowledge of Anglican liturgical practices and terminology.
- A caring and compassionate approach to pastoral responsibilities.
