Job Title: Group Business Development Officer
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Group Business Development Officer with a proven track record in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth across multiple business units.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and the ability to work collaboratively with senior management to achieve organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve growth targets across the group.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and tailored business solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.
- Monitor and report on business development activities, performance, and market conditions.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in business development, sales, or related role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business growth targets.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel when required.
