Job Description/Requirements
DelonJobs is seeking to hire a Group Brands and Communications Officer for a Financial Company in Lagos, Nigeria.
The ideal candidate will lead brand identity management and communication strategies across all group subsidiaries, ensuring consistent messaging in public relations, digital marketing, and internal communications.
Interested candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field with at least minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in brand, PR, or communications roles, preferably in financial services, fintech, or B2B sectors.
Monthly net salary is N2,250,000

Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Management
- Support development and execution of brand strategy.
- Ensure consistent brand application across all materials. Conduct brand audits and recommend improvements.
2. Corporate Communications
- Prepare and manage internal/external communications (press releases, speeches, newsletters).
- Handle media relations and monitor coverage. Manage crisis communication with senior management.
3. Marketing & Campaign Support
- Collaborate on marketing campaign planning and execution. Coordinate with media agencies and measure campaign performance.
4. Digital & Social Media Management
- Oversee content creation and posting on social platforms. Manage the company website and online reputation.
5. Internal Communications
- Develop employee communication strategies to boost engagement. Manage internal announcements and support leadership messaging.
6. Events & Sponsorships
- Plan and execute corporate events, launches, and sponsorships. Coordinate with vendors ensuring brand consistency.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIM, NIPR, Digital Marketing Institute) are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in brand, PR, or communications roles, preferably in financial services, fintech, or B2B sectors.
- Ability to craft and manage brand architecture across multiple entities.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills for various media.
- Proficient in managing social media, SEO, SEM, and web analytics tools.
- An ability to work with designers or use tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) for visual content.
- Experience in media liaison, press release drafting, and public speaking.
- Skilled in engaging internal and external stakeholders effectively. Ability to coordinate campaigns, events, and content calendars efficiently.
