Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to manage our financial processes and ensure the organization’s financial health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and management of the annual budget.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
- Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with local laws.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage and process invoices and payments to suppliers.
- Track and collect payments from customers.
- Internal Controls and Audits:
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations.
- Ensure the organization adheres to all financial compliance requirements.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Utilize accounting software for data entry and reporting.
- Advisory Role:
- Provide financial guidance and support to management on financial planning and business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven five (5) years experience as a finance manager
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE) is important
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA)
