Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons in Economics and Accounting to secondary school students.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student understanding and application of economic and accounting principles.
- Create a supportive and interactive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development and school goals.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as business or finance clubs, to promote real-world application of skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven teaching experience in Economics and/or Accounting in a reputable school.
- Location: Must reside within the Meiran, Command, or Abule Egba axis of Lagos State.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Education, or a related field (NCE or PGDE acceptable with strong experience).
- Skills: Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage students.
- Innovation: Enthusiasm for integrating real-world scenarios, case studies, and modern teaching tools into lessons.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Nigerian curriculum for Economics and Accounting subjects.
- Commitment: Passion for fostering financial literacy and contributing to the school’s growth.
