Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Dispensing Optician to join our professional eye care team at ICARE Family Vision Centre. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, with the technical knowledge to choose the best eyewear for patients' needs. As a Dispensing Optician, you will be responsible for interpreting prescriptions from optometrists, advising patients on lenses and frames, and ensuring accurate measurements and fitting. You’ll play a critical role in providing expert recommendations, fitting comfortable and functional eyewear, and offering aftercare services.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Interpret optical prescriptions provided by optometrists and ophthalmologists.
- Offer professional advice on frame styles, lens types, coatings, tints, and materials based on patient lifestyle, budget, and prescription.
- Fit and adjust glasses for comfort, vision optimization, and cosmetic satisfaction.
- Check all received orders for prescription accuracy and manufacturing quality.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure a wide selection of frame styles is available and presented well
- Provide after-sales support, including minor repairs, frame adjustments
- Handle patient concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols within the clinic.
Ensure compliance with local optical regulatory standards
Requirements:
- 2 years experience
- Degree in a related field
