Job Description
Production & Filming:

• Lead cinematography for music videos, short-form digital content, interviews, and EPKs.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, artists, and creative teams to execute the visual vision.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting rigs, drones, and stabilizers for on-location and studio shoots.
• Ensure high production value while adapting to various budget levels.

Pre-Production Planning:

• Participate in creative briefings and script breakdowns.
• Scout locations and conduct technical recces (site visits).
• Assist in shot listing, storyboard development, and lighting plans.
• Advise on gear selection and technical feasibility during planning.

Visual Style & Brand Consistency:

• Develop distinct visual styles that align with artist branding and campaign tone.
• Maintain consistency in lighting, framing, and motion across content types.
• Adapt visual treatments for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and DSPs.

Post-Production Collaboration:

• Work closely with editors, colorists, and VFX artists to ensure the final output aligns with the filmed material.
• Provide footage logs and camera reports to streamline editing workflows.
• Occasionally support rough edits or provide input during grading.

Asset & Equipment Management:

• Maintain and manage camera and lighting equipment inventory.
• Ensure footage is backed up and archived properly post-shoot.
• Manage permissions, location releases, and safety protocols during production.

Position Summary

• The Digital Creative Executive is responsible for crafting compelling, high-quality visual content to support artists, labels, and brand campaigns within the digital music distribution ecosystem. This includes music videos, live sessions, promotional content, social media reels, behind-the-scenes shoots, and branded creative assets.
• The role demands technical expertise, a strong visual storytelling sense, and a deep understanding of contemporary music culture.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Film, Media Production, Creative Media, Design, Digital Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a cinematographer, creative content role, preferably in music/media or digital publishing.
• Basic knowledge of post-production workflows (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
• Expert in natural and artificial lighting setups for various environments.
• Familiarity with gimbals, sliders, drones, and other cinematic gear.
• Experience filming live sessions, behind-the-scenes, or docu-style content..
• Understanding of social-first content creation (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).
• Great interpersonal skills - comfortable working with artists and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 / Month.
