Job Summary
The Associate, Corporate Development provides administrative and analytical support to the Corporate Development function of AA&R Investment Limited. This role involves conducting market research, performing financial and non-financial analysis, and contributing to the implementation of the company’s long-term growth strategy in collaboration with senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end execution of corporate development initiatives, partnerships, and joint ventures.
Assist in the preparation of investment proposals, financial models, business cases, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, potential investment targets, and market opportunities across AA&R’s core sectors.
Research market conditions, emerging trends, and sector opportunities.
Participate in due diligence processes by gathering, organizing, and reviewing relevant data and documents.
Monitor and track key financial and operational metrics of portfolio companies or strategic business units.
Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors during deal structuring and execution.
Assist in the documentation, reporting, and post-deal follow-up of transactions and strategic initiatives.
Provide administrative and analytical support for ongoing strategic projects led by the Corporate Development team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, strategy consulting, or similar analytical roles.
Strong foundation in financial modeling and business analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and financial research tools.
Basic understanding of deal structuring, due diligence processes, and investment evaluation methodologies.
Proficiency in building models and applying valuation techniques to assess investments and transactions.
Solid understanding of financial principles and ability to interpret financial statements to support decision-making.
Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, impactful presentations.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and results.
Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Accurate in handling data, preparing reports, and executing tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other financial tools.
Good grasp of industry trends, market dynamics, and corporate strategy fundamentals.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
