Coating Operations Supervisor (Expatriate)

Job Summary

• Oversee daily operations of the coating facility to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality.
• Serve as a key liaison between clients, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and clients’ satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure seamless, safe, and productive operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign and monitor daily tasks for plant leads and operators to ensure smooth shift execution.
• Conduct quality checks and enforce compliance with SOPs and production targets.
• Track critical control points to maintain high standards of process integrity and product quality.
• Address and resolve equipment issues, production disruptions, and process irregularities.
• Support recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
• Foster a culture centred around safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Communicate production performance updates and concerns to the Operations Manager.
• Work with the quality team to ensure products exceed customer expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility goals.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field.

• Possess professional certification in quality control/quality assurance, such as Certified Coating Supervisor

• Minimum of 5 years of pipe coating experience required in quality control or quality assurance within the oil and gas industry

• 3 years experience in leadershipo0r supervisory role.

• Should be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  

Insulation Supervisor

Job Summary:

• The Insulation Supervisor will be supporting planning and be responsible for supervising insulation activities to ensure the protection of piping, equipment, and structures from heat loss, corrosion, and environmental exposure.
• This role involves overseeing insulation material selection, application techniques, quality assurance, and compliance with approved work packs.
• The incumbent will coordinate with contractors and field crews to ensure timely work execution, inclusive of related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and site briefings to align work priorities.
• Oversee installation of hot and cold insulation systems, cladding, and fireproofing across assigned work locations
• Ensure compliance with insulation specifications, thickness calculations, and application methods following approved work packs.
• Monitor surface preparation, material cutting, fitting, and securing of insulation systems and ensure proper application of sealants, vapour barriers, and jacketing materials
• Identify defects, damages, or improper installations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of insulation materials (e.g. polyurethane foam, perlite, aerogel, etc).
• Supervise contractor personnel and insulation crews, ensuring adherence to project schedules.
• Track and report material usage, wastage, and reordering requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HND or a bachelor’s degree in engineering or Sciences.
• 3 years of experience in industrial insulation, thermal protection, and field supervision within LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
• In-depth knowledge of insulation materials and application methods.
• Familiarity with international insulation standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for report generation
