Our client, a growing healthcare provider headquartered in Lagos, is seeking a Clinical Administrative Officer (Practice Coordinator) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, support clinical teams, and deliver excellent patient experiences. This full-time, office-based role at their Head Office is ideal for a proactive, organized individual with a passion for healthcare administration.
Salary: N250,000 (gross).
Work Mode: Full-time (9am - 5pm)
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Operations
- Manage daily administrative tasks including reception, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records, billing details, and documentation.
- Prepare routine operational reports for management review.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and healthcare regulatory standards.
Patient Coordination
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage clinicians’ calendars, and ensure smooth patient flow.
- Respond to patient inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and escalate complex cases as needed.
- Follow up on patient progress and ensure appointment adherence.
Team Support & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between clinicians, admin staff, and leadership to drive efficiency.
- Support onboarding and training for new front-desk or support personnel.
- Organize meetings, staff communications, and internal trainings.
Financial and Inventory Oversight
- Assist with daily financial processes such as invoicing, receipts, and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and place timely orders for office and clinical supplies.
- Collaborate with finance or accounts on petty cash, payroll, and vendor-related tasks.
Quality Assurance
- Uphold high standards of service delivery and clinic presentation.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and suggest actionable service improvements.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in reception and common areas.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with healthcare billing, insurance, and regulatory compliance is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and practice management software.
