Job Opening: Class Assistant (Special Needs School)
Location: Abuja
A reputable school in Abuja that caters to children with special needs is seeking a Class Assistant to support teachers in delivering quality education and care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children (experience with special needs is an advantage)
- At least SSCE qualification (OND/NCE is an added advantage)
- Patient, empathetic, and able to work with children requiring special support
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and caregivers
Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in managing daily lessons and activities
- Assist children with learning, play, and personal care when needed
- Help maintain an inclusive, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Provide one-on-one support for children requiring extra assistance
- Encourage and motivate pupils in their learning journey
Salary & Benefits:
- ₦70,000 – ₦80,000 monthly salary (based on experience)
