Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Chef/cook role at a small kitchen within a new garden in 3rd Avenue, Gwarinpa with a flexible working schedule (off hours and off day). The Chef will be responsible for redesigning the kitchen/restaurant's existing menu and preparing and cooking meals according to the kitchen/restaurant's menu, as well as cleaning and maintaining the kitchen. The Chef will manage food inventory, and follow food safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications

• Cooking skills and experience with different types of cuisines
• Knowledge of Nigerian and intercontinental dishes
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety guidelines/regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• A minimum of O' Level is required
• Relevant culinary degree or certification is an added advantage
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an added advantage
Knowledge of food content creation & social media management is an added advantage
