Job Description/Requirements
We are hiring a talented Supervisor/Chef to lead our staff canteen operations. This is a dual role combining hands-on cooking with managerial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthy food, skilled in menu planning, and experienced in both kitchen work and team leadership.
Prepare daily sales/operations reports for management.
Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the canteen.
Supervise kitchen, service, and support staff.
Supervise the preparation of meals and snacks production.
Ensure strict adherence to the culinary requirements of different dietary conditions.
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met always.
Manage stock, orders, and supplies.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
Prepare daily sales/operations reports for management.
Requirements
Minimum OND/HND in Hospitality, Catering, Food Science, or related field.
At least 2 years’ supervisory experience in a canteen, restaurant, or catering service.
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to cook meals of the three major tribal groups in Nigeria.
Must be able to prepare a couple of intercontinental cuisines and make tasty pastries and small chops
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Have basic computer skills.
