Job Title: Business Development Manager (Oil & Gas)
Location: Wuye, Abuja

Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monthly Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000 Net
Our client is a newly established company strategically positioning itself in Nigeria’s dynamic Oil & Gas sector. We are seeking a highly capable and connected Business Development Manager to support their client acquisition, partnership building, and revenue generation activities.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a confident, proactive, and industry-savvy Business Development professional who understands the Oil & Gas landscape and can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving strategic sales initiatives, managing B2B relationships, and closing deals with both local and international oil servicing companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and secure new clients within the upstream and downstream Oil & Gas sectors.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to target oil servicing companies, EPC contractors, and energy consultancies.
- Build and maintain high-value client relationships to ensure repeat business and client loyalty.
- Collaborate with management to define growth strategies and go-to-market approaches.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategy.
- Attend key industry meetings, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the company.
- Track sales performance and provide monthly business development reports to management.
- Contribute to proposal writing, bid processes, and documentation for high-value contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales/business development in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong network across the Oil & Gas value chain, particularly with decision-makers in oil servicing firms.
- Excellent oral and written communication, pitch delivery, and contract negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to drive business growth, meet sales targets, and close high-value deals.
- Ability to work under pressure, lead meetings, and navigate corporate stakeholder environments.
- Must be based in Abuja.
