We are hiring a Business Development Manager to join our team to develop growth strategies and build long term relationships wit new and existing customers.
Job Description
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Research new products to expand the brand’s range. This involves an in-depth look at the existing products and noting where there is a void that needs to be filled.
- Identify leads for the company’s services (Corporate gifts, Scent marketing, and Event Scenting) through direct contact and word-of-mouth.
- Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients and oversee the company’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and festivals.
- Respond to all sales, marketing, and partnership inquiries. Manage relationships with vendors and stockists.
- Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
- Equipping staff with the technical and social skills needed to enhance sales.
- Review clients’ feedback and implement necessary changes. Developing goals and ensuring they are met.

Key Tasks
- Quickly evaluate the potential of all inquiries and prioritize accordingly
- Keep the CRM system up-to-date and accurate
- Fix the date for the demo installation
- Supervise installations and ensure it aligns with the brief received
- Work with the event technician to inspect the venue for the proposed scent service
- Liaise with all relevant colleagues on cross-referral opportunities
- Once new business is sourced, oversee and audit the implementation process before signing/ handing it over to Operations.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on time and as agreed
- Regularly visit clients to secure business
- Ensure all clients experience a responsive, efficient, and positive service at all times by keeping to agreed timescales, setting realistic client expectations, and ensuring you liaise effectively with the Operations manager.
- Monitor and report all referral activity and provide relevant management information as requested Travel to destinations to best facilitate transactions or training
