Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive client acquisition, close high-impact deals, and accelerate revenue growth. The BDM will take full ownership of the sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to closing and account transition. This role is ideal for a tenacious, data-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pipeline Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and engage new leads via outbound and inbound channels (calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking).
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across SMEs, mid-market, and enterprise clients.
2. Sales Execution
- Conduct product demos, discovery meetings, and solution pitching aligned with client needs.
- Customize proposals, manage objections, and negotiate terms toward deal closure.
3. Revenue & Target Management
- Own and achieve quarterly sales targets across segments.
- Maintain average deal size and reduce sales cycle through structured follow-ups.
4. CRM & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date lead and deal information in CRM.
- Submit detailed weekly and monthly sales reports (leads, demos, proposals, conversion rates).
5. Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to refine GTM strategies.
- Contribute insights on customer behaviour, market trends, and competitor activity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years proven success in B2B or SaaS sales.
- Strong experience with full sales cycle execution.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho preferred).
- Strong negotiation, proposal writing, and closing skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
