Business Development Manager

Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will spearhead Bankyloolas’ Marketing Unit, driving strategies that increase sales, grow market share, and enhance brand visibility across all outlets. The BDM will oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, partnerships, and sales initiatives that ensure consistent achievement of sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer engagement and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets across all Bankyloolas and Pasta Pan outlets.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and promotional channels to expand customer base.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
Sales Target Achievement
- Set, communicate, and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for all outlets.
- Collaborate with Outlet Team Leads to ensure sales performance aligns with set objectives.
- Create targeted campaigns and offers to boost upselling and cross-selling efforts at outlet level.
Marketing Leadership
- Lead the Marketing Unit, managing social media managers, content creators, and promotional staff.
- Oversee development and delivery of digital and offline marketing campaigns.
- Ensure marketing content is consistent with the Bankyloolas brand identity.
- Manage brand promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics across all outlets.
- Use data from EPOS, Social Media Performance Sheets, and Online Order Trackers to measure effectiveness of campaigns.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to management.
Customer Engagement & Retention
- Develop loyalty programs and promotions to retain top customers.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience Officer to integrate customer feedback into marketing strategies.
- Ensure marketing campaigns reflect customer preferences and seasonal demands.
Budget & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage the marketing budget for optimal ROI.
- Ensure marketing expenditures are cost-effective and directly tied to sales growth.

- Achieve or exceed sales targets across all outlets.
- Increase in foot traffic and online orders.
- Growth in repeat customer rate and customer loyalty participation.
- Positive ROI from marketing campaigns.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 4–5 years experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the food & beverage or retail sector.
- Proficiency with EPOS systems, social media platforms, and marketing analytics tools.
Work Schedule
- Full-time with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during promotional events as required.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
