Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and goal-oriented Business Development and Sales Associate to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with at least one year of relevant experience who is ready to contribute to lead generation, client engagement, and revenue growth in the fast-paced SaaS and technology sector.
The ideal candidate will support senior sales professionals, interact with prospective clients, and play a key role in identifying new business opportunities across the Nigerian market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business leads, market trends, and potential client segments
- Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, social media, and networking events
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations, proposals, and product demos
- Follow up on leads, schedule meetings, and support the sales pipeline process
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align messaging and outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects, and interactions in the CRM system
- Support client onboarding and ensure a smooth handover to account or support teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
- Continuously develop product knowledge and stay informed on industry trends
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a business development or sales role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to understand client needs and present appropriate solutions
- Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, or similar)
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Interest in SaaS, technology, and consultative selling is highly desirable
