Job Description/Requirements
Role/Responsibility :
Provides the leadership and daily management of the organization in the successful implementation of the strategic plan, annual goals and objectives in accordance with the organization’s vision, mission and values by:
- Overseeing all aspects of the organization and ensuring coordination among and between the various functional areas of the organization (e.g. education, support, advocacy and membership development)
- Developing and implementing internal operational policies and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness
- Overseeing design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services
- Creating the annual budget for LABS approval and prudently managing the organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to grantor requirements, current laws and regulations
- Overseeing all expenditures and ensuring timely accurate reporting of financial conditions
- Effectively managing the human resources (paid staff and volunteer) of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations
- Serving as organization’s representative and contact with the membership, general public, public officials, and the media and ensuring the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented with a strong, positive image
