Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Process HMO claims, track submissions, and follow up on approvals.
- Review and prepare accurate billing statements based on HMO tariffs.
- Review and cross-check HMO tariffs.
- Reconcile cashier reports and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain organized billing documentation for easy reference and audits.
- Handle email communications related to HMO claims, inquiries, and billing issues.
- File and update hospital documents in accordance with administrative protocols.
- Conduct office errands, such as delivering official documents and correspondence. Provide administrative support to the Billing/Admin department, assisting with routine tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Medical Records, Health Technology, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication abilities.
- Good computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and email communication.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills for reviewing financial transactions and billing data.
- Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in records and billing claims.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external HMO representatives.
- Basic customer service skills to assist patients with billing inquiries.
- Must reside in Benin City, as those outside Benin would not be considered.
