Job Title: Baking Assistant

BakeRight Traditions is looking for a reliable and motivated Baking Assistant to support our baking team in producing high-quality baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, pay attention to detail, and have a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment. As a Baking Assistant, you will help with ingredient preparation, assist in baking, package products, decorate products, and ensure that bakery workstations remain clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for a variety of baked goods, including cakes, cookies, pastries, and bread.
- Support in the baking process, following recipes and ensuring consistency in product quality.
- Help decorate products to meet our quality standards.
- Package baked goods and assist with labeling for display and delivery orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet freshness and quality standards.
- Receive and organize inventory, monitor supplies, and report any shortages to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn, ability to follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of baking techniques and food safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderately heavy objects
