About the Role
We are seeking a confident, dynamic, and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations and drive business growth in Lagos. The ideal candidate is bright, articulate, and comfortable handling client-facing presentations, negotiations, and closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion in Lagos.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts while acquiring new customers.
- Conduct compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Lead and supervise a team of sales representatives (where applicable).
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to management.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business partnerships.
- Ensure excellent brand representation at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4 – 6 years proven sales/business development experience, preferably in FMCG, retail, or related industries.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills with confidence in public speaking.
- Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly driven, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced business environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage.
