Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Agriculture Extension Officer located in Sokoto State, Nigeria. The Agriculture Extension Officer will be responsible for conducting soil science research, improving agricultural practices, and developing curriculums related to agriculture and livestock. Day-to-day tasks include providing education and support to local farmers, implementing agricultural programs, and conducting workshops to improve farming techniques.
Qualifications
- Experience in Soil Science and Agriculture
- Skills in Curriculum Development and Education
- Knowledge of Livestock management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Soil Science, or related field Experience in a similar role in the agricultural sector is beneficial
