We are a fast-growing fintech startup building a next-generation remittance platform that makes

cross-border money transfers faster, cheaper, and more accessible. Our mission is to empower

global communities by simplifying the way money moves across borders—securely,

transparently, and instantly.

We’re looking for a highly driven Technical Project/Product Manager who can lead product

development for our remittance app, working at the intersection of technology, compliance, and

customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Management

• Own and define the product roadmap for our remittance platform (mobile & web).

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather user needs, market insights, and business

objectives.

• Translate vision into clear product requirements, user stories, and technical

documentation.

• Prioritize product features with a balance of customer impact, tech feasibility, and

regulatory constraints.

• Continuously analyze performance metrics (conversion rates, transaction speed, churn,

etc.) to guide iterative improvement.

2. Project Management

• Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives for development teams.

• Align product development with engineering, QA, compliance, and customer support

teams.

• Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and third-party vendors/integrations.

• Ensure on-time delivery of features related to payments, KYC/AML, wallet functionality,

and FX handling.

3. Technical Engagement

• Work alongside engineers to evaluate system architecture, API design, and technical

trade-offs.

• Understand the intricacies of payment rails (SWIFT, SEPA, mobile money, etc.), money

movement, and currency conversion.

• Help troubleshoot product issues by coordinating between tech and customer-facing

teams.

• Support end-to-end testing, launch, and post-release monitoring of product features.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (MBA or fintech

certifications a plus.)

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical product or project management role, ideally

within remittance, payments, or mobile banking.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira,

Confluence, Notion, and GitHub.

• Experience with APIs, cloud services (AWS/GCP), and mobile application development

(iOS/Android).

• Familiarity with regulatory environments (KYC, AML, GDPR, PCI-DSS) and how they

impact product design.

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Data-driven approach, comfortable working with analytics platforms and dashboards.
  

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on product management experience in international remittances or FX/payment

apps.

• Knowledge of regional remittance corridors (e.g., US-Africa, Europe-Asia, LATAM).

• Experience integrating third-party services (ID verification, payment processors, crypto

rails, etc.).

• Understanding of digital wallet systems and mobile money platforms (e.g., M-Pesa, GCash).
