Responsibilities

Support and coordination of the finance department in Prime Atlantic Limited and group projects and reporting within Prime Atlantic Group Companies.

• Assists with day-to-day running of the finance department.
• Assist with preparation of customer invoices – TMSA, APL and reconciliation of its related ledgers.
• Ensure filing of statutory returns e.g. VAT, WHT are accurate and submitted on time.
• Preparation of Month End schedules for PAL & SYNERPET management reports – Month End Journals, Bank Reconciliations, Fixed Assets Schedules, Accruals, Prepayments etc.
• Maintenance of GL accounts on Navision, monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet GL accounts.
Follow established policies and procedures to make judgements/ decisions.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance or related field from an accredited university.
• 3-6 years post NYSC experience in a financial role.
• Previous experience in oil and gas industry is an added advantage.
• Must be at least a registered student member of a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., ICAN, ACCA).
Must have successfully completed at least two levels of the professional exams.
