Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program and Curriculum Executive Officer to lead the development and execution of our company's internal and external training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and technology, as well as a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences. You'll work closely with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs, design comprehensive curricula, and manage all aspects of program delivery. This is a key leadership role that will directly impact the professional growth of our employees and the skill development of our external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development and Design:
- Lead the entire lifecycle of curriculum development, from initial needs analysis to final implementation.
- Design and create engaging, comprehensive, and up-to-date training materials, including presentations, workbooks, hands-on exercises, and online modules.
- Incorporate various learning methodologies, such as blended learning, project-based learning, and gamification, to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Ensure all curricula are aligned with industry best practices and the company's strategic goals.
- Program Management and Execution:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of all training programs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth program execution.
- Lead and mentor a team of instructors and trainers, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of teaching quality.
- Utilize data to track program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strategic Leadership and Collaboration:
- Partner with senior leadership to define the company's long-term learning and development strategy.
- Collaborate with department heads and technical leads to identify skill gaps and future training needs.
- Act as the primary liaison between the training department and other business units, ensuring seamless integration of learning initiatives.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and educational best practices to continuously innovate our programs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of designing and managing successful training programs in the technology sector.
- Demonstrated experience in software development or a related technical field is essential.
- Core Competencies:
- Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
