Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Professional Live-in Chef to join our household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting exceptional meals tailored to the family’s tastes, dietary requirements, and lifestyle. This role requires creativity, professionalism, and discretion, as well as the ability to deliver fine dining–quality meals daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and occasional snacks) with a focus on variety, nutrition, and presentation.
- Develop customized menus based on family preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal ingredients.
- Prepare meals for special occasions, events, and entertaining guests, ensuring a high standard of fine dining.
- Source, purchase, and manage fresh, high-quality ingredients while maintaining budget and minimizing waste.
- Ensure the kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.
- Monitor food inventory, stock supplies, and manage pantry and storage efficiently.
- Stay updated with culinary trends, techniques, and global cuisines.
- Accommodate special dietary requirements (gluten-free, vegan, low-carb, allergies, etc.).
- Coordinate with household staff to ensure smooth service and alignment with family schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Professional Chef in luxury households, fine dining restaurants, or 5-star hotels.
- Formal culinary training from a recognized institution is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international cuisines, nutrition, and healthy cooking.
- Excellent plating, presentation, and fine dining service skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and requests.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Valid culinary certifications, food handling, and hygiene certifications are an advantage.
