Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef Instructor located in Abuja. The Chef Instructor will be responsible for teaching culinary skills and techniques, developing curriculum, preparing lesson plans, demonstrating cooking methods, ensuring kitchen safety and hygiene, and evaluating students' performance. The role also includes keeping up-to-date with food industry trends and applying them to lessons.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in culinary arts, including both continental and local cuisine
- Experience in curriculum development and creating lesson plans
- Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students in culinary skills and techniques
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene practices
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage classroom activities
