MUSE Hotel is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Cook or Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing both local and international dishes, with a strong background in food costing, mise-en-place, and kitchen management. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality culinary experiences.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and execute a range of local and international dishes with precision and creativity.
- Manage mise-en-place to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Oversee food costing, inventory, and portion control to maintain profitability.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Assist in menu planning and collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new dishes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Senior Cook or Sous Chef in a similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of local and international cuisine.
- Expertise in food costing, inventory management, and kitchen organization.
- Ability to work well under pressure and lead a team when needed.
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering excellence.
**Compensation:** Based on experience and performance.
