Summary
The Human Resources Manager supports the efficient operation of Davis School District by administering HR policies, procedures, and systems. This position performs a variety of functions, which could include benefits administration, managing FMLA and other leave issues, ADA compliance, and serving as a liaison between classified/licensed employees and district leadership on personnel matters. This position helps ensure that district practices align with federal and state regulations, district policies, and agreements with employee associations.

Position is announced to all qualified applicants. Applications must be submitted by Monday, August 25, 2025. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, The Human Resources Manager assists with various department functions, including benefits administration, ADA/FMLA compliance, regulation and policy compliance, training, conflict resolution, staff supervision, etc.
- Advises district leadership and staff on Human Resources policies and regulations.
- Conducts and participates in human resources investigations and conflict resolution including complaints, grievances, allegations of policy violation, etc.
- Participates in various standing or ad hoc committees as assigned.
- Provides guidance to administrators and supervisors on employment issues.
- Other duties as assigned. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Three or more years of experience in human resources, preferably in public education or other public sector.
- Experience and/or familiarity with insurance benefits administration.
- Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other employment laws.
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.
