Front Desk Officer
Location: Lagos
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and professional Front Desk Officer to manage our reception area and provide administrative support to ensure efficient front office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to visitors, clients, and applicants professionally.
- Manage phone calls: answer, screen, route, or take messages promptly.
- Maintain visitor logs, access control, and reception security.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Provide accurate information and direct inquiries to the right departments.
- Support with scheduling, filing, data entry, and basic correspondence.
- Assist with administrative tasks including meeting coordination and document handling.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mass Communication or English
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar front desk/reception role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Professional appearance, organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
