Description:
The Front Desk Staff serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role involves managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, coordinating with other hotel departments, and maintaining accurate records of guest activities and payments. The Front Desk Staff represents the hotel's image and plays a vital role in delivering a welcoming and professional environment.
Front Desk Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the hotel’s property management system.
- Process room reservations, cancellations, and modifications in line with hotel policies.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Handle payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate guest account records.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved quickly.
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area at all times.
- Handle guest complaints or issues professionally, escalating to the duty manager when necessary.
- Prepare daily front desk reports and handover notes for the next shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦50,000.00 - ₦70,000.00 per month
