Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee broad finance and operational activities across the organization.
- Manage accounts, payroll systems, and ensure timely salary disbursement.
- Perform cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
- Lead the budget planning and expenditure tracking process.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and standards.
- Implement and monitor accounting controls and internal audit measures.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Provide effective stakeholder management and support decision-making.
- Supervise day-to-day operational and financial activities.
- Oversee personnel management within the finance and admin teams. Utilize technology tools and systems for enhanced financial oversight.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field; relevant professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Proficient in financial software and tools; strong technological literacy is essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
- High level of integrity, diligence, and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
