Itoro Casa Interiors, a premium and exclusive full-service design firm, are seeking a reliable, organized, and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily activities at construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing crews, coordinating project timelines, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining project quality and productivity. The Construction Site Supervisor will work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure that all aspects of the construction process run smoothly and efficiently.
Job Overview Job Type: Full-time Minimum Qualification: Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management or a related fi eld of study. Experience Level: Intermediate Experience Length: 3-5 years minimum Location: Lagos Responsibilities: Supervision and Coordination:
- Oversee and supervise all construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
- Manage construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors on-site, ensuring tasks are completed according to schedule and within budget. Coordinate the daily work schedule, ensuring that materials, equipment, and labor are available as needed.

Quality Control:
- Inspect work and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor the progress of the project to ensure work is completed on time and to the specified quality standards. Report any issues or delays to the project manager and work to resolve them.

Safety Management:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and safety audits. Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all equipment and tools.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily site activities, including work completed, materials used, and timekeeping for labor. Prepare progress reports and communicate any issues or concerns to the project manager.

Problem-Solving and Decision Making:
- Address any problems or delays that may arise on-site, working with the team to find effective solutions. Collaborate with other project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and vendors, to resolve issues and keep the project on track.

Project Collaboration:
- Ensure effective communication between project management, clients, subcontractors, and other teams. Act as the main point of contact for any on-site issues and ensure a smooth workflow among all parties involved.

Qualifications: Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building Construction Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role, ideally with hands-on experience in managing both the design and construction phases of projects. Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, building materials, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage on-site teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
