- The Entry-Level Civil Engineer will provide support in the planning, design, and supervision of construction and infrastructure projects.
- The role involves assisting senior engineers with site inspections, technical reports, and project documentation while gaining practical experience in applying engineering principles to real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation activities.
- Conduct site visits and inspections under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Assist in preparing technical reports, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
- Perform basic structural and materials analysis using engineering software and tools.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors, surveyors, and other stakeholders on project tasks.
- Support quality assurance and quality control activities on construction projects.
- Assist in monitoring project progress and reporting on milestones.
- Keep records of project data, site activities, and material usage.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, construction materials, and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt to site and office environments.
- Must have a (2.1) or its equivalent.
- Must not be more than 25years
