Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-friendly Cashier to join our hospital team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling financial transactions, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate records of payments, and ensuring smooth billing processes for patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive payments (cash, card, transfers) from patients and their families for medical services.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Balance daily cash collections with system records and prepare end-of-day reports.
- Assist patients in understanding their bills and hospital charges.
- Ensure accuracy in billing and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Work closely with the accounts department to reconcile accounts.
- Handle confidential patient and financial information with utmost integrity. Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/OND/NCE in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a cashier, teller, or in a customer service role (preferably in healthcare).
- Strong numerical and data entry skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, POS systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently. High level of honesty, integrity, and accountability.
