Job Summary

We are hiring a Business Development Lead to lead our growth strategy in high-potential verticals. You will proactively prospect and generate new business, manage strategic partnerships, and drive targeted market expansion with immediate impact.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect and secure high-value business opportunities across Nigeria and beyond.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships across diverse sectors.
  • Lead expansion initiatives to drive growth in new markets and service areas.
  • Represent TalkCounsel in high-stakes negotiations, industry events, and partner agreements.
  • Work closely with leadership to shape quarterly growth strategies and revenue targets.
  • Swiftly and tactfully address business crises and client escalations.


Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or deal advisory.
  • Proven track record in real estate development, government/private contract acquisition, or infrastructure-related deals.
  • Established network of business and political stakeholders is a must.
  • Expertise in negotiating and closing complex contracts and partnerships.
  • Deep knowledge of market dynamics, risk assessment, and strategic positioning.
  • Strong crisis and change management skills are highly advantageous.
