Position Summary

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites that align with our brand, marketing goals, and user experience standards. You will work closely with design, content, and marketing teams to bring web projects to life, ensuring responsiveness, performance optimization, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
• Convert design prototypes (Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch) into fully functional, responsive WordPress pages.
• Customize existing themes and plugins to meet specific project and functionality requirements.
• Ensure websites are fully responsive and function flawlessly across all major browsers and devices.
• Monitor and enhance website performance, speed, and SEO optimization metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end website issues in a timely manner.
• Manage website updates, backups, security protocols, and CMS patches.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to integrate SEO best practices, landing pages, and tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel).
• Implement third-party integrations such as payment gateways, CRM systems, and newsletter platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot).
• Conduct regular site audits to identify bugs, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain documentation of codebase, processes, and custom implementations.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Solid understanding of WordPress core, theme architecture, and plugin development.
• Experience with modern WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
• Familiarity with SEO principles, schema markup, and website performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design standards.
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party APIs and plugins.
• Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce (optional but preferred).
Working knowledge of security best practices and website hardening techniques.
