Role Overview
We're looking for a Backend Developer who can build robust database systems, improve backend efficiency, and collaborate with our product and frontend teams to bring our features to life. You’ll be working on a system that supports stores, wallets, delivery systems, and social features—designed to scale for thousands of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable database solutions
- Write clean, reusable code for functional web applications
- Analyze and improve existing queries for performance
- Design and implement data migration scripts and automation procedures
- Troubleshoot backend issues through detailed analysis of data and code
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and stakeholders to shape cohesive backend logic
- Lead small development efforts or projects when needed
- Participate actively in the entire application lifecycle (planning, development, testing, deployment)
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience as a Backend Developer or SQL Developer
- Strong command of SQL and experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
- Solid understanding of Node.js, Express, and TypeScript
- Experience using Sequelize ORM
- Proficiency with tools such as Swagger, Postman, Git
- Basic experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to AI integration in web systems
