Job Summary
The Vice President, Corporate Services is a key member of the Group Executive Team responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and functional integration of five critical service units across the company and its subsidiaries: Human Resources, Administration, Information Technology, Brand & Communications, and Travel & Protocol. The role is pivotal to driving operational excellence, aligning service delivery with business goals, and enabling sustainable group-wide transformation through people, systems, and corporate infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead and provide cross-functional direction to all Corporate Services units, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Translate the company’s corporate strategy into functional roadmaps, plans, and metrics for each unit under supervision.
- Oversee the development and execution of strategic initiatives in HR, IT, Admin, T&P, and Brand/Comms that foster operational efficiency, service excellence, and innovation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the GCOO and executive management team on people, systems, infrastructure, and reputational matters.
Human Resources Oversight
- Guide the strategic direction of talent management, organizational development, performance management, and employee engagement across the Group.
- Ensure the development and implementation of robust HR policies, succession planning, leadership development, and a high-performance culture.
- Promote compliance with labor laws, compensation strategy, and change management.
Administration & Facility Management
- Ensure effective administrative systems, asset tracking, procurement oversight, and facility management across all company locations.
- Oversee logistics, office operations, and safety protocols.
Information Technology
- Direct the IT function to ensure efficient, secure, and modern infrastructure supports business operations and digital transformation.
- Promote innovation in IT service delivery, data governance, and technology support across the Group.
Brand, Communication & Marketing
- Oversee the development of strategic internal and external communication plans to promote the Group’s corporate identity, brand equity, and stakeholder engagement.
- Guide the implementation of marketing, media, PR, CSR, and digital strategy that aligns with corporate objectives.
Travel & Protocol
- Provide executive oversight for corporate travel management, visa processing, logistics, and expatriate support to ensure seamless coordination.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and immigration requirements and efficient vendor management.
Performance & Risk Oversight
- Develop and monitor KPIs for all units under Corporate Services and ensure continuous improvement across functions.
- Mitigate operational and reputational risks within corporate service areas through structured governance and reporting frameworks.
Budget & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets and advise management on cost optimization strategies.
- Ensure efficient resource planning and fiscal discipline across all corporate services functions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., GCOO, Finance, Subsidiary Heads) and external stakeholders (regulators, vendors, consultants) to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance.
- Promote cross-unit collaboration and team alignment with Group strategy.
Qualification And Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field (Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline).
- A Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Strategic Management or Organizational Leadership) is an added advantage
- Professional certifications such as CIPM, SPHRi, SHRM-SCP, NIMN, or ITIL are an advantage depending on background specialization.
- Minimum of 9–12 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years at senior management level overseeing multi-functional corporate services or shared services in a group or conglomerate structure.

- Strong strategic planning and operational execution capability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams across various functions.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align service functions with corporate performance.
- Familiarity with process improvement tools and systems (ERP, HRIS, IT service management).
- Proven project management and transformation leadership experience.
