Job Title: Ticketing Officer

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Ticketing Officer to handle airline bookings, ticket issuance, re-issuance, re-confirmations, cancellations, and refunds for clients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proficient in industry-standard booking systems, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Book and issue domestic and international flight tickets using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Revalidate, re-issue, or cancel tickets as required by clients.
- Provide accurate fare quotations and itinerary options to customers.
- Ensure correct ticketing processes in compliance with airline policies.
- Advise clients on flight schedules, fare rules, baggage allowances, and travel requirements.
- Handle ticket refunds, name corrections, and schedule changes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline products, promotions, and policies.
- Keep accurate records of all ticketing transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service to resolve booking and ticketing issues.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ proven experience in ticketing within a travel agency or airline environment.
- Proficiency in at least one GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre).
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- IATA or related travel industry certification.
- Knowledge of multiple GDS platforms.
