Job Summary:
We’re looking for a proactive and results-oriented Territory Sales Advisor to drive direct sales of our fish products to wholesalers, retailers, open markets, supermarkets, local stores, restaurants, and other bulk buyers. This role involves identifying new sales opportunities, managing relationships, and growing our customer base in the Lagos State, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and onboard wholesalers, retailers, and other bulk buyers.
- Conduct regular field visits to open markets, local shops, supermarkets, and foodservice businesses.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers.
- Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in field sales, preferably in food distribution or FMCG.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Good knowledge of Lagos markets and local business environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fluent in English and at least one local language preferred.
- Experience selling fish, seafood, or related food products.
- Existing network in the retail or hospitality sectors.
