Job Title: Terminal Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Terminal Supervisor oversees the daily operations at the terminal or designated routes. This role ensures that transport schedules are followed, staff (drivers, ticketers, loaders) are performing their duties, and passengers receive safe, efficient, and quality service. The Supervisor is also responsible for resolving on-site issues, managing incidents, and reporting operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate daily transport activities, including vehicle dispatch and staff assignments.
· Supervise drivers, ticketers, loaders, and cleaners to ensure timely and quality service.
· Ensure that all vehicles depart and arrive according to schedule.
· Monitor vehicle loading, boarding procedures, and passenger safety compliance.
· Handle passenger complaints or conflicts and escalate when necessary.
· Inspect vehicles and ensure they meet operational and safety standards before departure.
· Maintain accurate records of daily trips, delays, incidents, and staff attendance.
· Report operational issues such as breakdowns, delays, and route obstructions to management.
· Enforce company policies among terminal staff and drivers.
· Work closely with mechanics and fleet officers to coordinate repairs and maintenance.
· Provide shift reports and recommend operational improvements.
· Other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager.
Requirements & Qualifications:
· Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Transport Management, Business Admin, or related field.
· 2–5 years’ experience in transportation (supervisory experience preferred).
· Strong understanding of road transport operations, scheduling, and route planning.
· Knowledge of Lagos routes, traffic patterns, and regulations.
· Ability to manage people and solve problems quickly on the ground.
· Excellent verbal communication in English and Yoruba.
· Proficient in using basic software (Excel, WhatsApp, and ticketing platforms).
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₦120,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
