Job Summary:
J.H Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced and self-driven Business Development / Technical Sales Manager to expand and manage our market presence in Northern Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, commercially savvy, and fluent in Hausa to build strong relationships across regional markets. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and promoting technical solutions in line with our product and service offerings—especially in power generation, engineering, and industrial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with customers and partners across target markets in the North.
- Promote the company’s technical products and services (e.g., generators, fire systems, compressors, energy solutions) to both private and public sector clients.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical advice to clients on product features, specifications, and suitable solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing, strategy, and positioning.
- Achieve set sales targets, margins, and customer acquisition goals.
- Collaborate with internal technical, logistics, and support teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions using CRM tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales, preferably in power, engineering, or equipment sectors.
- Proven ability to manage B2B relationships and close high-value deals.
- Fluent in Hausa and English—both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of technical products and industrial applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Northern Nigeria.
- Knowledge of public procurement or government contracting processes is an advantage.
