Naija Girls in Tech (NGiT) is a Nigeria-African nonprofit initiative dedicated to empowering girls and young women in Nigeria and across Africa with digital skills, tech mentorship, and entrepreneurship training. Through hands-on programs in coding, AI, cybersecurity, robotics, and data analytics, NGiT is working to bridge the gender gap in Africa’s digital economy. Led by Nigerian founders, the organization is committed to transforming access, equity, and innovation for African girls in tech. NGiT trains girls aged 16-35, launches girl-led tech startups, connects mentees to jobs and internships, and promotes tech inclusion for people living with disabilities.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Tech Trainer located in Lagos, with some work from home acceptable. The Tech Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for girls and young women in various digital and emerging technologies. This includes preparing training materials, conducting training sessions, evaluating trainee performance, and providing mentorship. The Tech Trainer will also collaborate with other team members to enhance training effectiveness and support the overall mission of NGiT.

- Strong Communication and Training skills
- Ability to mentor and provide guidance to trainees
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills
- Passion for empowering girls and young women in tech
- Experience working in nonprofit or educational organizations is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or related field
