Job Title: Supply Chain Officer (Scrap Material Sourcing)

Location: Owode Onirin, Lagos

We are a fast-growing recycling company committed to sustainable practices and efficient raw material sourcing. Our core business focuses on collecting, processing, and exporting recyclable scrap materials for production.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Supply Chain Officer to drive the consistent supply of scrap materials for our production needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and building long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady flow of raw materials to our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and source suppliers of recyclable scrap materials (e.g., cans, plastics, metals).

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure constant and reliable material flow.

Negotiate favorable supply terms and agreements.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality of materials delivered.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contacts, and deliveries.

Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to forecast material demand and ensure timely supply.

Continuously scout for new supply channels and markets.

Requirements:

Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing (experience in recycling industry is a plus).

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet targets.

Good knowledge of local markets and supplier networks.

Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.

Must reside in or around Owode Onirin, Lagos, or within close commuting distance.
