Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute agile, scalable supply chain strategies that support business growth in hardware, software, and cloud-based service delivery.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, IT Operations, and Finance to align supply chain planning with technology roadmaps and service-level expectations.
- Lead risk mitigation strategies in global tech sourcing, including semiconductor shortages, cybersecurity disruptions, and geopolitical risks.
- Build and manage strong global supplier relationships across hardware (OEMs, ODMs), logistics partners, and software vendors.
- Lead negotiations for service-level agreements (SLAs), cost savings, and quality standards.
- Implement robust vendor governance frameworks and performance scorecards.
- Oversee global sourcing and procurement of tech components, including servers, network infrastructure, end-user devices, and peripherals.
- Ensure end-to-end visibility in inbound/outbound logistics, customs compliance, and last-mile delivery of tech equipment.
- Optimize transportation routes and warehousing solutions for minimal lead times and reduced overheads.
- Ensure real-time tracking and management of IT hardware assets, spare parts, and consumables across data centers, offices, and client sites.
- Implement efficient inventory control and just-in-time (JIT) practices to balance availability and cost.
- Leverage asset lifecycle tracking for procurement forecasting and warranty management.
- Align with legal and finance teams on compliance in software procurement, licensing models (SaaS, IaaS, perpetual), and renewals.
- Streamline digital delivery processes and entitlement management for enterprise clients.
- Utilize ERP, SCM, and ITSM tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow) for integrated visibility and planning.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives including automation, AI-driven demand forecasting, and supply chain analytics.
- Champion cybersecurity and data protection within supply chain systems.
- Drive environmentally responsible sourcing and green supply chain initiatives aligned with ESG goals. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including e-waste laws, export controls, and software usage rights.
