We are hiring a Strategic Finance & Investment Manager to lead the Group’s capital strategy, financial planning, investor readiness, and market intelligence efforts. This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who can combine technical excellence with strategic insight and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Modelling

• Develop and maintain dynamic financial models and forecasts at group and subsidiary levels
• Support capital planning, valuations, and investment decision-making across the portfolio
• Conduct scenario analyses and stress testing for business plans and expansion models

2. Fundraising & Investor Engagement

• Prepare fundraising materials, including investor decks, term sheets, and investment memoranda
• Lead and coordinate capital raising efforts — from investor sourcing to deal execution
• Manage data rooms and oversee investor due diligence processes

3. Investment & Market Advisory

• Conduct market, sectoral, and macroeconomic research to support strategy and fundraising
• Benchmark competitors, analyse industry trends, and advise on market positioning
• Support deal origination and investment pipeline development for the Group

4. Stakeholder & Regulatory Strategy

• Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory and policy changes that affect group companies
• Liaise with DFIs, investors, government stakeholders, and external partners where needed

5. Internal Strategic Support

• Work with CEOs and Heads of Strategy across Arila’s portfolio companies to align growth plans
• Drive KPI tracking, business reviews, and financial discipline across subsidiaries
Serve as a thought partner to senior management on capital structure and strategic finance

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or corporate finance
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
• Strong understanding of fundraising processes, investor relations, and deal structuring
• Familiarity with African markets and investment dynamics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Professional certifications (e.g. CFA, ACA, ACCA) or MBA preferred
