Job Description/Requirements
Job Objective
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Unit Head to lead our Inverter Sales and Financing Business Unit. This role combines technical understanding of inverter/solar solutions with financial acumen to scale both product distribution and customer financing operations. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end operations, including sales, partnerships, loan origination, credit risk management, and after-sales service.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the business strategy for the inverter sales and financing unit.
- Drive revenue growth through innovative go-to-market strategies and financing models.
- Oversee P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the unit.
Sales & Business Development
- Lead the development and expansion of sales channels (direct, dealer, B2B, and digital).
- Build and manage partnerships with inverter manufacturers, distributors, and installers.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and product offerings.
Inverter Financing & Credit
- Design and oversee financing models tailored to customer segments.
- Work with credit and risk teams to define underwriting criteria, loan terms, and repayment structures.
- Ensure seamless integration of loan origination, disbursement, and repayment tracking systems.
Operations & Delivery
- Ensure timely procurement, installation, and servicing of inverter systems.
- Optimize last-mile logistics, technician dispatch, and customer service processes.
- Monitor operational KPIs including delivery timelines, loan recovery rates, and customer satisfaction.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and lead a cross-functional team of sales reps, credit officers, and technical support staff.
- Drive team performance through regular reviews, coaching, and performance management.
Installation assessments:
- Oversee periodic audits of installed inverter/solar units to ensure quality control, verify proper usage, and assess asset integrity for ongoing loan performance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. MBA or a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, operations, or product management—preferably in energy, solar, or asset financing.
- Strong understanding of inverter/solar systems, consumer financing models, and risk management.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving business growth.
KPIS
- Monthly unit sales and financing disbursements
- Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and loan recovery rate
- Customer acquisition and retention rate
- Operational turnaround time (installation, service)
- Profitability and cost efficiency of the business unit
